Whiskey Myers Hits The Colosseum Stage with Special Guest The Ransom Brothers

Southern rockers Whiskey Myers are teaming up with The Ransom Brothers for a can’t-miss stop on The Colosseum stage on Thursday, October 8 at 7 PM.

Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers has played nearly 3,000 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. In addition to headlining their own sold-out shows and performing at marquee festivals, the six-piece was also personally selected to open The Rolling Stones’ Chicago stadium show in 2019.

Lauded by Rolling Stone as “their most supercharged album yet,” that “sounds on the whole like an invigorated, freewheeling rock band in its prime,” their latest album, Whomp Whack Thunder, features the hit single “Time Bomb,” which climbed the Active Rock radio charts. Their previous project, Tornillo, featured one of the most-played Americana songs of 2022, “John Wayne,” and followed the breakthrough album Whiskey Myers, which debuted at Number One on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts. The band has sold more than 2.7 million albums and amassed over 4.1 billion streams while earning nine RIAA Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum certifications as an independent band.

Known for their high-energy live show and unique sound, the band has also earned sync success with features in Paramount’s hit shows Yellowstone (including an on-screen performance) and Landman. USA Today describes their sound as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock and roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.”
